WEDDING FAQS

Have a question? Hopefully you will find the answer below, if not feel free to get in touch and we will be happy to help.

How far in advance should I book?

I recommend reserving your date as soon as possible as availability is limited. This helps ensure your spot on my calendar. If your wedding is coming up sooner, don’t worry—reach out, and we’ll check availability.

What is a booking contract?

All clients will need to complete a booking contract, this allows us to ensure that everything is clear and that you know what to expect from me, it is as much for my benefit as yours.

Where are you located?

I am based in Kent, however, I frequently cover London, Essex, Sussex, the South-East and the rest of England.

Is a Second Photographer Necessary?

For larger weddings, having a second photographer can be a game-changer. It ensures that no moment is missed—while I’m capturing one angle, the second shooter can focus on another, giving you more complete coverage of your special day.

Are there any hidden costs?

There are no hidden costs with our packages. The price is the price. However, you can request additional add-ons which can be found on our pricing page.

What if I don't get the photos I hoped for?

Of course we always aim to provide you with photos you love, however, if you are not completley happy then we are happy to reschedule an alternative session. Additional sessions do still come with a fee.

Do You Photograph Smaller Weddings or Ceremonies?

Yes! I’m happy to capture intimate weddings or individual ceremonies. Our Love Notes package is designed for exactly that!

Can we choose specific group photos?

Absolutely—I recommend having group photos! A couple of months before your wedding, I’ll send you a short questionnaire so we can plan which groups you’d like to capture. While these photos are a lovely way to bring generations together, I usually suggest keeping the list fairly small. This helps things run smoothly, keeps guests happy, and gives me more time to focus on the candid moments that truly tell your love story.

Should We Do an Engagement Shoot?

Engagement sessions are a wonderful way for us to get to know each other before the big day. They also help you feel comfortable in front of the camera, and give you a preview of the beautiful style and quality of your wedding photos. What might feel a little awkward at first quickly turns into fun and relaxed moments.

Why do you need a deposit?

Your deposit is simply to secure your booking and covers the preparation, meeting, coverage and editing. This covers reservation, creating and sending booking contracts, discussing your editing options/photo styles. Most importantly it secures your date.

Can I request specific themes?

Of course! Candid? Editorial? Documentary? Dark and Moody? I got you covered!

How long do I have to wait to recieve my edited photos?

I am to have your images back to you as soon as possible, however, during busier times of the year and dependent on how full our diary is, this could take up to 12 weeks.

If you do need your images sooner then a rush fee of £325 can be paid to prioritise your images and cut down your wait time to within 3 weeks.

Can We Add an Album or Prints Later?

Absolutely! Albums and prints can be added to your package anytime. I’ll guide you through the options so you can choose the best way to preserve and showcase your memories.

How many images would we recieve?

Whilst I don't promise a specific number as I prioritise quality over quantity and don't want to flood you with duplicates, you can expect:

Love Notes - Approx 100 - 200 fully edited images

The Vow - Approx 300 - 400 fully edited images

Forever Thine, Forever Mine - Approx 600 - 800 fully edited images.

The more coverage you choose, the more images you receive. Likewise, adding a second shooter to your booking also increases the number of images you will receive.

What image retouching do you do?

The price includes basic retouching and editing. This could be adjusting colour, contrast, highlights, shadows and even removing blemishes. We also try to remove distractions, unflattering elements in the background where possible. We do not believe in heavy editing as the photographs will not be a true reflection of our work.

Additional editing can be done but that would be at my discretion after consultation and would require an additional fee.
